Philippa Lincoln - Climate Positive Forest Landscapes Specialist
Philippa is forest development expert with 18 years of experience specialising in climate, social
and biodiversity positive forest landscapes. Her 30+ consultancy assignments have tackled
forest climate and local development issues for a range of donors, including the UK FCDO, GIZ,
Norad, DANIDA, the World Bank, the African Development Bank and several NGO clients at a
global level and in Africa (Cameroon, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Liberia, Malawi, Rwanda, Sierra
Leone, Tanzania, Zambia), Southeast Asia (Indonesia and Malaysia), Central and South America
(Colombia, Costa Rica and Guyana). Philippa’s technical experience spans REDD+, MRV,
climate finance and the green economy, particularly international and national forest climate
policy, national forest-related climate change processes, enabling activities, forest and land use
measurement, sustainable forest-related enterprises and forest positive supply chains. Philippa
also has strong experience in the technical direction, co-ordination and operational management
of complex programmes and projects, including large and diverse multi-country teams of experts.
