Revision of the Plan Vivo Standard

To ensure that the Plan Vivo Standard continues to reflect international best practice and to enhance access to markets and funding for current and future Plan Vivo projects, the Plan Vivo Standard was revised, to launch an updated version in 2022.

TLLG took a leading role in redrafting project and methodology requirements, coordinating working groups, and arranging consultations with experts, other relevant stakeholders, and the broader public. Inputs included a review of the draft project requirements against environmental and social safeguard standards, and alignment of methodologies with international best-practice in carbon accounting to secure accreditation by the International Carbon Reduction Offset Alliance (ICROA).
